To fish on the surface is exciting and can be done with fat bombers or lightly dressed classic dries. We prefer flies though enough possible to skate even in hard wavy waters. This little discrete brown fly is almost impossible to sink. It’s about as close to an insect imitation as any of our flies and we just love it both for salmon and sea trout, but also for hard fighting steelhead.
